Dear Residents, Summer is just around the corner in the Village of Lindenhurst, bringing with it longer days, warmer weather, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy everything our community has to offer. Whether you’re attending a local event, visiting our downtown businesses, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying our beautiful waterfront, there is no shortage of ways to make the most of the season. LINDENHURST VETERANS DAY REMEMBRANCE SERVICE

The United Veterans Council and the Village of Lindenhurst invite you to attend this year’s Veterans Day Remembrance Service. The event will be held at the Lindenhurst Village Square Park Gazebo (North Wellwood Avenue at East Hoffman Avenue) on Wednesday, November 11th, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Please bring a chair if you would like to sit during the ceremony. Village of Lindenhurst proudly present “Lindenhurst- We Were There” – a documentary chronicling September 11th, 2001, focusing on the Lindenhurst perspective — then and now. All are invited to the documentary’s red-carpet premiere on Friday, November 6th at Lindenhurst Moose Lodge #1421, 883 South Broadway beginning at 7PM

On Friday, November 6th, 2026, the Lindenhurst Village Historian’s office, and the Incorporated Village of Lindenhurst will proudly present “Lindenhurst- We Were There” – a documentary of loss, remembrance, unity, and endurance, told through the first-person accounts of Lindenhurst’s surviving family members, first responders, residents and community leaders. The documentary will have a red-carpet premiere at the Lindenhurst Moose Lodge #1421, located at 883 South Broadway, beginning at 7PM and is open to the public.
